SANDSTONE AND WATERBASED CLAY SEAT
A hybrid seating structure seamlessly combines the natural elegance of sandstone with the malleability of water-based clay. Crafted with precision, this innovative piece harmoniously blends the timeless charm of the earthy sandstone base with the artistic versatility of water-based clay for the seat. The water-based clay used was a mixture of earthenware white and terracotta to create a marbled look that is reminiscent of cowhide. The clay is then "draped" over the hard and sturdy sandstone that uses an interlocking system that allows the user to take it apart with ease.
